Dune: Messiah - January 2026 Updates, Release Date, Cast, Plot & Status

As of January 2026, Dune: Messiah (or Part 3) has moved past filming and into post-production. Reports from late 2025 confirm that principal photography has officially wrapped.

Although often called Dune: Part Three, Denis Villeneuve has confirmed the official title follows the novel. The film is titled Dune: Messiah

The name reflects the shift in focus and tone compared to the previous two films.
