FROM Season 5 August 2026 Updates: Release Window & Set Images

FROM Season 5 is in mid-production right now and it's expected to wrap filming in November. The final season is confirmed to arrive in 2027 with 10 episodes. Here are all confirmed updates about Season 5 of FROM as of August 2026.

Season 5 is Currently Filming

The final season is currently filming. It started production on July 6 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. The release year is confirmed for 2027, and based on the production-to-release pattern of previous seasons, I expect it to arrive in mid-2027, possibly as early as May. Despite the Fromily's wishes for a long and extended final season, it will stick to the previous seasons' 10-episode structure. Season 5 will be the final season, so we will get the answers this time and hopefully they will be worth the buildup.

It is also worth noting that the lead star Harold Perrineau (Boyd) had to cancel a July Comic-Con appearance because the Season 5 filming schedule was so intense.

The Story of FROM Season 5

Executive producers John Griffin, Jeff Pinkner, and Jack Bender stated that they are on track to finish the story exactly how they originally intended and promised that the answers will be worth it.

During a recent creator AMA on Reddit, the producers hinted that storywalking will be a central storyline in Season 5 and will be heavily explored. They also hinted that the Ballerina will return along with the music box, alongside new locations within the FROMville realm.
