Silo Season 3 Episode 1 "Who Are You?" Recap & Ending Explained

So, Jules actually lost her memory due to the pills, which means my theory of her faking her memory loss is now officially out the window. Season 3 started strong, fixing the slow pace that season 2 was full of. I believe the dual timelines (the past and the present) helped fix the slow pace a lot.
Also, the Season 3 story picked up 3 months after the events of the season 2 finale, putting us all in the same shoes as Jules—not knowing what happened during those 3 months. I think the show will let us uncover the pieces as Juliette recovers her memory.
The Void of Memory

Seeing Juliette Nichols serving as the new Mayor of Silo 18 following her "Cleaning" was crazy, especially since she has no clue what happened out there. However, she is suffering from amnesia, unable to remember anything about her time outside or her life before. While she experiences flashbacks of fire and Bernard, her handlers, Camille and Robert, work aggressively to convince her that her memories are naturally failing due to trauma. I hope this memory plot does not last until the final episodes of this season!

The past timeline was wild too, introducing Congressman Daniel Keene and his sister, Charlotte. It shows her on a bombing run over Iran that goes completely sideways when her team flies into a bizarre storm cloud made of nanoparticles. The particles rip the jets apart and leave Charlotte with a massive brain injury that wipes out her memory. It's a huge parallel to what Juliette is dealing with in the silo right now. The picture still isn't fully clear about the origin of the silos, but we definitely got some major pieces of the puzzle.

The "Vitamin" Regimen

We found out in this episode that Juliette's memory loss is being artificially maintained. Robert and Camille observe her via hidden cameras in her room. Also, the "vitamins" Jules is required to take are actually memory-suppressing drugs; when Juliette shows signs of recovery, the "Algorithm" orders Camille to double the dosage to ensure she never disables the Safeguard Protocol, because "they" assume that she knows how to disable it.
The Search for Truth
The way the episode ended was so good, with Juliette discovering a secret scroll hidden in her chowder. The message, likely from Martha Walker (or the Mechanical), instructs her to leave her bowl upside down and meet in the marketplace to find the "truth".
This sets up a central conflict for the season: Juliette must find a way to stop taking her "vitamins" so her real memories can return, all while evading the constant surveillance of the Watcher Room.
This episode is great and really gets me hyped for where the storylines are going next.
