Silo Season 3 Official Trailer Breakdown: Juliette's Memory Loss, Fan Reactions & Timeline Split
Finally, Silo Season 3 official trailer has dropped today. A tense and full of action trailer that promises a huge season ahead. Episode 1 will drop next month on Friday, July 3, 10 episodes and will drop weekly.
The Memory Loss Twist

A lot of fans are frustrated by this idea, saying that it will drag the story. I even tweeted (or x'ed) about it: "let's hope Jules doesn't wait until episodes 9 or 10 to get her memory back!"

But I don't think the core of Juliette's story in season 3 will be about her piecing her memory together! She is not in the second book (Shift), and season 3 will be mainly based on the second book, which opens the door for the writers to be creative with her. The freedom they have with her this season is wide open, and I trust the Silo writers.

I've spent the 5 hours before writing this article in Silo communities, from our SciFi Spiral members community to Reddit, Facebook Silo groups, Discord, etc., and all of them share the same 2 traits: they are happy but skeptical! The skepticism comes from the memory loss twist, they are afraid of the drag and of us, the fans, returning to square 1 of Jules gathering info again!

The Trailer & The Timelines
The trailer is packed with action and twists. A lot happened, but they have focused a lot on the present time (the aftermath of Silo 18), and less on the "before times". Yes, we do know that season 3 will be a split timeline between the present and the origin of the silos, but how will the split work? Are we getting the same balance as the trailer?
