FROM Season 4 Episode 7 "Best Laid Plans" Recap: Fatima's Connection Saves Kenny

After the slow-paced episode last week, this episode raised the pace and progressed the story in a way we the audience are not used to in FROM. I hope the last 3 episodes of this season are at the same pace, I think if they are, the season will be a successful one regarding the issues in its beginnings.
Uniting the Township with the Reincarnation Theory

Imagine if this was the attitude from the beginning! Boyd and Jade share the reincarnation info with everyone, yes, everyone! not only that, but Boyd also structured a plan and told the residents how he, with a group, will do it. Boyd reveals the theory that Tabitha is the reincarnation of Miranda and whoever came before her and explains that the key to their salvation lies in finding and destroying the bones of the Anghkooey children. At the same time, Tabitha also shared this critical info with Julie and Ethan.
Henry, however, didn’t take that well. I believe it’s because of the Man in Yellow’s blood—he dropped some of it into Henry’s drink last episode. He didn’t accept this and strangely wants to stop it!
Victor’s Dark Omen

Victor came to Tabitha and Ethan so they can join his mission to investigate the Man in Yellow’s car, he can't do it alone because visiting the Man in yellow's car terrifies him. When they arrived, he found a pouch of human teeth in the glove box. This discovery triggered an idea in Victor's head that the cycle will start again and that we are now at the end of it. I like how he mentioned that when Miranda arrived, she had 2 kids—a boy and a girl—and the same applies to Tabitha (Julie and Ethan), and that Ethan is the only one destined to survive the coming massacre, and that history is repeating itself.

Testing the Totems

In this episode, I really thought we would lose Kenny!
Kenny’s dangerous mission started when Boyd wanted to test these giant totems from the Settlement as weapons against the creatures that come at night. Because of Boyd’s tremors, Kenny volunteers to do it.
It didn’t work, the monsters blocked every door so Kenny couldn’t escape the night. What happens next was crazy, and I think it is the major revelation of this episode. We now know for sure that Fatima has a real connection, or maybe control, over Smiley. When Smiley trapped Kenny in the bus, Fatima was seeing everything Smiley sees—she can see through Smiley’s eyes. She saw Kenny trapped at the top of the bus with no way out, because the ground was also full and surrounded by monsters. Fatima yelled "stop!" and Smiley stopped—that was Kenny’s moment to escape.
At The End
This episode is really good and moves the story at a pace that we all wanted. I can’t believe all of what I mentioned above happened in one FROM episode. Again, let’s hope the last 3 episodes of this season have the same pace as this one.
